What is the CND (Concours National de Danse)?

“The Concours National de Danse is the must-attend event that celebrates the excellence, passion and artistic diversity of dancers from all over France.” The Concours National de Danse (CND) is a prestigious event organized by the Confédération Nationale de Danse France. Each year, it offers dancers from a variety of disciplines-classical, contemporary, jazz, hip-hop and other styles-the opportunity to showcase their talent before a jury of renowned professionals, including teachers, artistic directors and choreographers. The competition takes place in several stages, beginning with regional selections organized by CND’s 22 regional federations across France. The winners of these regional competitions are then invited to take part in the National Competition, which brings together the country’s best talent. The 2025 edition of the Concours National de Danse will be held from May 28 to 31, 2025 at the Zénith d’Auvergne in Clermont-Ferrand. This major event in the French choreographic calendar is a unique opportunity for dancers to hone their skills, test themselves against other talents and enjoy an unforgettable artistic experience.”
